New Release:

The Zephyr Lightning Bolts have undergone several changes since their last recording.  They have shuffled around some of the members and added a couple of new faces.  Bill Hoge has joined to help out on rhythm guitar. Steve has laid down his Martin for a larger instrument - the upright bass. Roger has taken on new duties of lead guitarist, vocalist and fiddler.  Diane remained on the clawhammer banjo and still helps out on the vocals.  The band is also proud to welcome Steve & Diane's oldest son Jacob as he has stepped forward to be fiddler.   The project was recorded at DB Recording Studio in Dobson, NC

The Lightning Bolts cassette entitled "Out of the Blue" was recorded at Krystal Clear Recording Studio in Mt. Airy, NC.  It features a mix of Old-Time Traditional fiddle tunes, waltzes and a few vocals that is characteristic of the group.
